To check on the fish stocks in the river Our, an electric fishing was undertaken by the national water administration AGE and the Luxembourg Institute of Science and Technology (LIST).
natur&ëmwelt contributed to the determination of fish species on two sites of the river Our. 16 different species could be identified.
Among the most abundant fish species were the minnow, the chub, the bleak, the gudgeon, the bullhead and the stone loach.
Other observed species: the common nase, the barb, the brown trout, the common dace, the grayling, the brook lamprey, the bitterling, the stickleback, the roach, as well as the non native goby.
