For some years, the mussels have been released in gravel cages in the breeding channel  at the Mill of Kalborn
During the inspection of the cages in mid-September, it was found that the majority of mussels had survived. After more than 2 years in the boxes the shells have grown well and over 70% of the animals have survived.
